Sewing TipsEmpty Tic Tac containers make great receptacles for used needles. If you have an empty Kraft Parmesan cheese container, it's also great to put in used rotary cutter blades and needles. These kinds of things should not be thrown away in the trash without some protection. Old vellux blankets make good beading mats. Cut one up and share it with a beading friend. Chop sticks are good to keep by your sewing machine to use to push fabric or straighten out fabric. Even good when you're turning something to get the corners turned. Especially if you can't find your turning tool!! |
